August Wrap Up

Rebel Spring by Morgan Rhodes:
4/5 Stars
I really enjoyed this book. It was a great middle book and one thing I loved about it was that it advanced the plot, versus just being a “filler book.” Awesome book, I can’t wait to see what happened next! 4/5 stars

Nothing But Shadows by Cassandra Clare and Sarah Rees Brennan:
3.5/5 Stars
There’s not much to say about this, because this book is a novella, but I did enjoy it and felt like it did add interesting new information to the whole Shadowhunters world. 3.5/5 stars

The Evil We Love by Casandra Clare and Robin Wasserman: 3/5 Stars
This wasn’t my favorite book of the Tales from the Shadowhunter Academy novella series. I felt like it didn’t add any new information to the whole Shadowhunter universe, but it was a fun little story. 3/5 stars

P.S. I Still Love You by Jenny Han:
4/5 Stars
I loved this book! I felt like it was really fun to continue on with Lara-Jean and Peter and I loved seeing their story unfold further! So very cute! Once again, Jenny Han kills it! 4/5 stars

Finding Audrey by Sophie Kinsella:
4/5 Stars
This book was so adorable! I absolutely loved it and thought it was a really great, yet light portrayal of mental illness! 4/5 stars

Dash and Lily’s Book of Dares by David Levithan and Rachel Cohn:
3/5 Stars
This book was alright. I felt like it was cute, but not too memorable. It was a shorter little diddy, and I didn’t realize it at the time, but it’s definitely a Christmas/holiday season story, so I may have enjoyed it more if I read it in the right season. 3/5 stars

Everything, Everything by Nicola Yoon:
5/5 Stars
This. Book. This book is AMAZING! I cannot say enough about this book. It was moving, it was suspenseful, it was brilliant! Check out my full review for it in the reviews section of The Book Keeper’s Secrets! 5/5 stars!

The Kiss of Deception by Mary E. Pearson:
3/5 Stars
I was unfortunately disappointed with this book. There’s a lot of hype surrounding it, but it unfortunately just didn’t do it for me. Although I didn’t love it, I am going to give the second boo a try, but I’m going in with lower expectations. I’m not going to go into detail here, but a longer review is coming. 3/5 stars
