Musing Monday is a weekly meme hosted by Miz B at Books And A Beat in which we pick a question to answer. The questions are…
  • I'm currently reading...
  • Up next I think I'll read...
  • I bought the following book(s) in the past week...
  • I'm super excited to tell you about (book/author/bookish news)...
  • I'm really upset by (book/author/bookish news)...
  • I can't wait to get a copy of...
  • I wish I could read ____ , but...
  • I blogged about _____ this past week...
THIS WEEK'S RANDOM QUESTION: Name your least favorite plot device emplloyed by way too many books that you actually enjoyed, otherwise.

This week I’ll be answering…
Up next I think I’ll read…
Girl in the Blue Coat by Monica Hesse. I actually can’t wait for it. It’s pitched as a historical thriller thats like The Book Thief meets Girl on the Train. It sounds really good!
And now, for this week’s random question…
Name your least favorite plot device employed by way too many books that you actually enjoyed, otherwise.
Miscommunication. I hate it when the main problem could’ve been solved with a single conversation. I can’t name any books off of the top of my head but miscommunication as a plot device seems to occur most frequently in contemporaries.
