Top 10 Tuesday | FIVE Websites Every Fangirl/Boy/Person Should Really Check Out

Tuesday, May 10, 2016

HELLO!!! (I'm trying out the whole "enthusiastic host" thing--what do you think?)
We have come to another Tuesday and you know what that means! It's time for Top 10 Tuesday, a weekly meme hosted by The Broke and the Bookish! Now, this week's topic kinda stumped me. It was the "websites every X should check out." Unfortunately, I'm not much of a wild internet browser (that would be Internet Explorer--buhdumpchhhh!), aside from reading book blogs, but I didn't want to give you the top 10 sites every avid reader should check out because I figure that most of you already know them.

But then!...Inspiration struck. Us bookish people are pretty much hardcore fangirls/boys/people for books, right? And there are some pretty awesome sites out there tailered to fangirls/boys/peoples like us! So today I give you the FIVE websites every fangirl/boy should really check out. Yes, I know, I only have a five item list, but quality over quantity, guys!

1) Hypable
I adore Hypable! It is my go to website for everything fangirlish. They have book news, TV news, and movie news and they even have specialized podcasts (I LOVE their Book Hype podcast!). If you want the latest news on all events in your fandom (even if your fandom is a broad category like "books"), then Hypable is the place to go.

2) Fangirlish
As the name implies, Fangirlish is another great website for fangirls/boys/people! Fangirlish has all sorts of articles and discussions on books, movies, and TV. Another great source for al of the latest fandom news.

3) The Fandom
Like Hypable and Fangirlish, The Fandom gives you all sorts of fandom news on TV, movies, and books, but they also add fun and games into the mixture! I love taking their unique quizzes, including the ultimate fandom test!

4) Tumblr
What would fandom be without that connection to other people. Tumblr isn't a fandom specific site, but it is a popular social media on which fandom members like to interact. You name the fandom, you can find it's niche on Tumblr. Scroll through edits and graphics, fanfics, crackpot theories, and more or just have a friendly chat with your fellow fandom members!

5) Buzzfeed
Last on the list is Buzzfeed, your source for all things geeky! Buzzfeed has a multitude of fandom related news, articles, lists, videos, and quizzes!
