SUNDAY SNAPSHOTS
PERSONAL AND BLOGGING NEWS
I SURVIVED!!!! I, SOMEONE WHO DOES NOT PLAY POKEMON, SURVIVED THE GREAT POKEMON GO BLACKOUT!!! At least, for this past week, that is. But really. I managed to find completely valid and fun things to do with my time other than playing Pokemon Go, like the rest of the country. Namely, listening to audiobooks. Even though I'm in a slump and it's going painfully slow. But that's besides the point, the point being that I LIVE!!!
Haha, anyhoo. This past week was up and down.
Monday, I spent half of the day in Barnes & Noble and I was literally (literally!) 15 pages away from finishing Batgirl Vol. 2: Family Business...when Barnes & Noble decided to close. Aargh!!! Oh, the tears of frustration! Curse you, Barnes & Noble, CURSE YOU!!!! Guess I'll just have to finish another time. *sigh*
I received some incredibly sad news on Tuesday that a friend of mine from high school had died. It saddened me greatly, especially as he was younger than me and had just graduated high school. He was such a bright person, always trying to make everyone laugh. His family and close friends will be in my heart and in my prayers.
The rest of the week played out nicely, though. I chilled, blogged, listened to audiobooks. I started a "practice bullet journal" to try out th method and see if it works for me. Oh! Yesterday, I completely redesigned my Blogspot and I'm really proud of it! I did the graphic design for it and then chose a new template, but the thing I'm really proud of doing is editing the HTML and CSS of the template, especially to put the menu in! It was super cool and I felt like I'd achieved something, which was a really nice feeling for me. I'll probably keep messing around with it, just to see what I can do!
