Hey there! It's me, Lila, back again to do yet another tag that I wasn't tagged for! I remember sseeing this tag float around, but I honestly can't remember where I last saw it or who created it, as it's kind of an old tag. Nevertheless, I'm here to do the tag because the fun won't stop with me! So let's get to it!
What are your top three book
pet hates?
in terms of book physicality, I
don't have any except for when a paperback book is so stiff that you can barely
open it (at least, not without cracking the spine) and when books in a series
don't match in height and width. In terms of my literary pet
peeves, I dislike...
1. the whole
"miscommunication as a major plot device" trope
2. flawless characters (what a
yawn!)
3. romanticizing mental illness
(or any illness, tbh)--not cool, dudes, not cool.
Describe your perfect
reading spot
Hmmmm..I think I'd need a big, comfy, cushy couch with lots of
pillows so I have the option of sitting or lying down. Then I'd like two or
three walls of books and I'd like the other wall to be made up of floor to
ceiling windows. Lastly, I'd like a fireplace, but in the center of the room.
Tell us three book confessions
1. When reading physical books I dogear pages.
2. I have to be doing something (it doesn't
matter how small or menial as long as it's something) while I
listen to audiobooks or else I lose focus.
3. I can't take pictures of my shelves for bookstagram because
they're a total mess!
When was the last time you cried during a book?
Fun fact about me: I've only ever cried because of a book/movie/tv
show twice in my life. And one of those times it was literally
a single tear. I'm just not someone who gets emotional over
fiction which is strange because I'm honestly a really empathetic
and emotional person. But anyhow, the last time I "cried" during a
book was in May 2016 at the end of The Rose and the Dagger by
Renee Ahdieh. Something really shocking happened in the story and I was so
caught off guard that literally a single tear rolled down my cheek. Then, of
course, I snapped out of it and kept reading.
How many books are on your bedside table?
So my bedside table is a desk that I've actually kind of turned
into a makeshift bookshelf so there are a ton of books on my
"bedside table." Not all of them are on my TBR, though, because at
the moment there's no organization to how I stack my books, I just put them
where there's room.
What is your favorite snack to eat while you’re reading?
Anything and everything! What?! Don't give me that look! I just
really love food!

What is your biggest reading secret?
Most of the time I like to be spoiled before I
read a book...
And finally, who do you tag?
