Kisses and Monsters, Oh My! | Music Moment

Hello and welcome to this week's Music Moment, where I share my weekly musical obsessions! I've got lots of good stuff for you this week so let's jump into it!

"Un Beso" by Carla Morrison

I love Morrison's smokey vocals paired with the dramatic organ in the background. She reminds me of a female, Mexican Chris Isaak (anyone remember him?)! I don't speak Spanish, though, so I have no clue what she's saying aside from something about a kiss, lol!

"Monsters" by Ruelle

I've also really been feelin' Ruelle since I discovered her. I particularly like her grungy pop song "Monsters," which was featured in Shadowhunters. I love the dark, edgy feel the song has to it.

"Gasoline" by Halsey

I love the hollow pop sound of this song (and all of Halsey's songs, really). I also like that the song kind of describes what it''s like to be depressed or an addict. I think those are really important issues which art should address.

"Light It Up" by Major Lazer ft. Nyla and Fuse ODG

This is just such a happy song. It reminds me that I'm young and makes me want to dance! The music video is great too!

And Of Course...

I had to include this one! I think it's hysterical (and ridiculously catchy) and it gave me a good laugh!
