Books
I'm in the middle of two books right now, but the one that I'm taking my time with because I really love it is When Dimple Met Rishi by Sandhya Menon! It's such an adorable story that makes me squeal with joy! It has such a genuine feel to it, similar to that of Jenny Han's To All The Boys I've Loved Before trilogy. It's a really wonderful and diverse read and I highly recommend it!
Music
I attended a Bollywood dance party last week (held by Indian folks as a celebration of Indian dance and music and open to the public) and I loved the music! I've always adored the various styles of Indian music, so attending the party spun me back into the swing of listening to it! Anyhoo, one of my favorite Indian songs is "Moorni" by Punjabi MC. It's a little slower, but still easy to dance to and very fun!
Movies/TV
The official teaser trailer for A Wrinkle in Time dropped yesterday and it has me so super excited for so many reasons!!!
- I've never read the books, but I loved the original movie of A Wrinkle in Time and this remake looks 1000 times better!
- A Wrinkle in Time is one of my mom's favorite books from her childhood and I can't wait to see it with her!
- From the trailer, this movie looks absolutely stunning!
- ASDFGHJKLKJHGF!!! THE MAIN CHARACTERS ARE MIXED RACE LIKE ME!!!
Other Stuff
I just got a new bullet journal and I'm trying to commit to using it--but first I've got to figure out how to use the darned thing!!! In theory I like the idea of bullet journals, but I struggle to actually use mine. I'm hoping this new "official" bullet journal will help me get started.
