Welcome to Hardcover Haven, a haven for any and all bookworms! I'm Lila, your guide around this particular patch of internet. I'm a twenty-something college student studying anthropology. When I'm not reading, I can usually be found singing, spending time with family and friends, and/or snuggling my two cats, Snoopy and Clementine.

welcome

Stacking The Shelves | May 7, 2016

Stacking The Shelves is a weekly meme hosted by Tynga's Reviews in which we talk about the physical books/e-books/audiobooks we've aquired (bought, borrowed, or received for review, etc.). Here's what I've aquired in the past week:

Borrowed

I had a spectacular week in library borrows! Ohmygodsomanybooks!!! ALL OF THE BOOKS!!! It's actually kinda overwhelming cause I have no idea how I'm gonna finish them all. I got Map of Fates by Maggie Hall, The Forbidden Orchid by Sharon Biggs Waller, The Siren by Kiera Cass, Zeroes by Scott Westerfeld, Margo Lanigan, and Deborah Biancotti, Tell The Wind And Fire by Sarah Rees Brennan, The Raven King by Maggie Stiefvater, Rat Queens Vol. 1: Sass and Sorcery by Kurtis J. Wiebe and Roc Upchurch, Saga Vol. 2 by Brian K. Vaughan and Fiona Staples, and, finally, Gotham Academy Vol 1: Welcome to Gotham Academy by Becky Cloonan, Brendan Fletcher, and Karl Kerschl. As I said--I GOT ALL OF THE BOOKS!!! MUAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!! Ahem. So since they're checked out for 3-4 weeks, I'll be getting to them ASAP.

Bought

My mom did something supes nice and bought me the physical copy of Queen of Shadows by Sarah J. Maas from Book Outlet for only $5.99 (AND IT'S A NEW COPY NOT A SCRATCH AND DENT!!!)! Yes, I have already read the book, but I wanted the physical copy so when it popped up on Book Outlet (which, as of today it's still available), the rest was history...

Recieved
