Welcome to Hardcover Haven, a haven for any and all bookworms! I'm Lila, your guide around this particular patch of internet. I'm a twenty-something college student studying anthropology. When I'm not reading, I can usually be found singing, spending time with family and friends, and/or snuggling my two cats, Snoopy and Clementine.

The Monday Musts | May 16, 2016

Hello people of Earth! It's Monday and that means it's time for The Monday Musts! The Monday Musts is a weekly meme hosted by Jessica at Lovin' Los Libros in which we talk about our must reads, must listens, and must sees of the week!

Must Reads

This week's must read is...The Rose and the Dagger by Renee Ahdieh. This book is either the book I read net or the book after the one I read next and I'm so super excited!!! I've been eagerly awaiting this book for a year now! The Rose and the Dagger continues the story of Scharzad, who marries a king known for killing his wives. The Wrath and the Dawn left us on such a cliffhanger that I can't wait to see what happens next! Plus Ahdieh's writing is gorgeous! I just can't wait for everything about this book!

Must Listen

This week's must listen features an entire catagory (!) and that is...DRUM ROLL PLEASE!!!...Audiobooks! I've been posting a lot lately about audiobooks and getting a lot of comments about people wanting to start audiobookin' it! I've also seen a lot of bloggers lately talking about audiobooks and their experiences with them or their desire to try out audiobooks. So I figured this week I'd list the entire category of audiobooks as my must listen! Audiobooks are a great way to inhale books, especially on the fly. I find them much easier and faster, but that's just me. So give them a try so I can stop throwing them in your faces!
*throws audiobook at your face*
*probably misses you by a long shot*

Must See

2016 BEA and Bookcon vlogs are my must see of the week. I'm not choosing one, because they're all great, but just check your fave booktuber's channel to see if their videos and vlogs for BEA and Bookcon are up. For those of us who didn't go, it's a great way to live vicariously and for those of you who did go, it's a great way to relive the memories.
