I think Hufflepuff is one of the most interesting Hogwarts houses because it's the only house that J.K. Rowling doesn't give much definition and focus to and in doing such, she kind of has allowed a lot of flexibility for Harry Potter fans themselves to decide what qualities Hufflepuffs embody. According to Pottermore, Hufflepuff is the house of "hard work, patience, loyalty, and fair play." In addition, I personally associate Hufflepuffs with kindness, gentleness, compassion, positivity, and a natural inclination towards healing, both physical and emotional. When I think of Hufflepuffs, I think of people who aren't pushovers, but who stand up to others while still being mindful of their opponent's humanity. The booktubers I'm about to recommend are individuals who I personally think embody the qualities of a typical Hufflepuff.

BookablesOf all of the booktubers I watch, I would argue that Heather of Bookables is definitely the most Hufflepuff-y. Heather is so sweet and genuine! It's so clear that when giving what might be considered any kind of "controversial" opinion, Heather tries her best to be incredibly considerate of everyone's feelings, including those of people who might disagree with her. Heather is always so positive and I know I can always count on her to give thoughtful opinions. If you're looking for a great Hufflepuff booktuber to follow, definitely check out Heather's channel!
Books with Chloe
If I'm not mistaken, Chloe of Books With Chloe identifies as a Ravenclaw, but I think she seems a bit like a Ravenclaw/Hufflepuff mix. Chloe is so soft spoken and seems so kind. She's not afraid to voice negative opinions, but she seems to try to do so in a gentle and thoughtful way. Chloe also seems to make a lot of friends in the community who are from channels of all sizes, big and small. If you're looking for a Hufflepuff/Ravenclaw booktuber to give you a dose of intelligent, yet thoughtful and kind opinion, then give Chloe's channel a chance.
Super Space Chick
Super Space Chick's Kristin strikes me as the definition of a Hufflepuff fangirl. She's always upbeat, positive, and excited. It's clear she's always thoughtful when giving her opinions, even if they're negative ones. Kristin always has a refreshingly cheery outlook and definitely helps viewers look on the bright side. She's is peppy and fun and I always leave her videos feeling excited to read! If you want a bright, fun, cheery booktube channel to watch, then Kristin's channel is definitely one for you!
Alexa Loves Books
While this channel is called Alexa Loves Books, it actually consists of content made by two creators---Alexa and her husband, Macky. The two of them have to be the epitome of an adorkable Hufflepuff couple! Alexa and Macky love to fangirl/boy and geek out over books and it's so cute. They're both so soft-spoken and positive that I feel like I always end their videos feeling a bit cheerier. And---bonus!---they're actually good friends with Kristin of Super Space Chick, so sometimes she joins them in vlogs and the Hufflepuff-ness is overwhelming (but in, like, a good way)! So definitely give Alexa Loves Books a chance if you're looking to add some Hufflepuff-y bookish positivity in your life!
Chelsea Palmer
Chelsea of Chelsea Palmer is another booktuber who strikes me as a Hufflepuff fangirl. Her positivity and exuberance is so catchy and it's hard not to leave her videos feeling pumped about reading! Chelsea is always so happy to share her love of literature with everyone watching her videos. She's like a ray of Hufflepuff sunshine! So if you need that in your life, Chelsea's channel is for you!
So that's all I got today for Hufflepuff booktuber recommendations! These booktubers are ones who I really feel embody the exuberance, positivity, and kindness of Hufflepuff as a house. Thank you so much for joining me today and I hope y'all enjoyed!

- What's your Hogwarts house? Who are some booktubers you think share it?
- Do you agree with my recommendations?
- Who are some booktubers you think belong in Hufflepuff?
Hello, friends! Today is part two of my series of posts in which I sort booktubers into Hogwarts houses. Last time I shared some booktubers who I believe are Ravenclaws, and this time I’ve turned my eye to Slytherins!
Aside from being cunning and ambitious, other traits I associate with Slytherins are: cleverness, dark humor, confidence, and blunt, unfiltered honesty. One thing I’ve noticed is that all of the booktubers I’ve chosen for this category are pretty blunt and outspoken, but oftentimes in a snarky way. They’re not afraid to say, “You know, I really wasn’t a fan of that thing” or “I really loved this thing,” even if it’s an unpopular opinion. I guess this is also kind of something I associate with Slytherins—they have a comfort with being unapologetically themselves in a completely unrefined way. So here are some of the booktubers I feel embody that vibe!

Cindy of readwithcindy is, like, Peak Slytherin Booktuber. Hilariously blunt, sarcastic, and self-deprecating, Cindy is the absolute epitome of a Slytherin. Cindy has no qualms about calling it like she sees it minus all the disclaimers. She’s very good at subverting common “booktube tropes” through irony and sarcasm. But, in the end, as much as she might mock some of the sillier things that those of us in the book community might do, Cindy really does stand for the phrase “You do you.” If you’re looking for the most Slytherin of Slytherins, check out Cindy’s channel!H A R D B A C K H O A R D E R
If you’re looking for a booktuber who just completely embodies the vibe of a Slytherpuff, Ali of HardbackHoarder is ya girl! Ali doesn’t hold back who she is or her opinions—and I love that about her! And, man! Does she bring the sass sometimes! She’s always honest, always kind, and sometimes very snarky. I feel like I didn’t know what a Slytherpuff looked like—until I watched Ali, that is! So, whether you’re a Slytherin, a Hufflepuff, a cross between the two, or neither, give Ali’s channel a look!L I E N E ' S L I B R A R Y
To me, Liene from Liene’s Library will always be another one of The Slytherin Booktubers—but in the best sort of way! Liene isn’t afraid to voice her thoughts and opinions, regardless of how popular they are. She’s blunt and unfiltered and full of sass and snark. Liene’s never one the shy away from being honest about what she thinks and she’s effing hilarious all along the way! If you’re looking for a brutally honest and hilariously blunt booktuber, Liene’s the one for you!T H O U G H T S O N T O M E S
I feel like everyone knows that Sam from Thoughts on Tomes is like booktube’s Slytherin queen! With her dark aesthetic and her love of even darker characters, Sam embodies the darkness of the overall Slytherin aesthetic. She’s a big fan of villains, antiheroes, and morally gray characters and she never shies away from divulging her true thoughts on books. I’d direct anyone looking for a good Slytherin book recommendation to Sam’s channel.R I L E Y M A R I E
Riley Marie wins the award for Most Sarcastic Slytherin Booktuber—but I love her for it! She always has something snarky to say and she never hides her feelings about books. I’ve watched Riley Marie since 2015 and I think in that period of time she’s only managed to become even more Slytherin-esque! I know if I want a good, Slytherin-ish time, I can count on Riley Marie!T E L L M E A L L A B O U T I T

Hello, friends! How have you been?
So I’ve had this exciting little idea for a tiny bit now and I wanted to finally share it with you because I can’t keep it to myself anymore!
I’ve been seeing all the super cool posts people have been making on Hogwarts house book recommendations and it struck me that a neat twist to put on that would be booktube channel recommendations based on your Hogwarts house! I love booktube and I feel like there are so many diverse personalities making booktube videos!
First up is Ravenclaw, a house which I must admit is super close to my heart as I myself am a Ravenclaw! Ravenclaws prize wit, wisdom, knowledge, and creativity and I would think that our taste in booktubers probably reflects that. Whether they’re more analytical and factual or nuanced and creative, I’ve chosen booktubers who I believe show an abundance of such qualities, thus demonstrating the spirit of Ravenclaw house!

Ariel is a booktuber who I tend to think of as The Ultimate Ravenclaw. She’s so intelligent and thoughtful, but in the most down-to-earth way. Every time I finish one of Ariel’s videos, I feel like I’ve learned something new. The great thing about Ariel’s videos is that she always finds a way to make you feel like she’s speaking with you, rather than at you, and in doing so she never leaves you feeling stupid or less than. If you’re a Ravenclaw, then Ariel is one booktuber who I think you’ve absolutely GOT to follow!M Y N A M E I S M A R I N E S
Marines is the intellectual snark queen of my heart! She’s another booktuber who I always feel like teaches me something new with each one of her videos and she does so in such a blunt, snarky, humorous way. Marines’s videos always promise a hilarious riot of an intellectual discourse and if that in any way sounds like a contradictory description, then I encourage you to go watch one of her videos immediately. If you enjoy a thorough yet oftentimes snark-filled dissection of books and literature-related topics, then Marines is definitely the booktuber for you!M O N I C A K I M
Monica is such a lovely, well-spoken, thoughtful booktuber. You can tell she puts so much care and thought into relaying her thoughts on books. I also love how Monica focuses so much on diverse literature and how she shares just why it’s so special to her and others in such an eloquent, heartfelt manner. Plus, I feel like Monica really showcases how you can be intellectually intelligent as well as creatively intelligent. Also I’ve gotta say Monica earns bonus points cause I love her funky, feminine fashion sense!I T ' S J A N E L I N D S E Y
Jane’s gotta be one of my favorite intersectional feminist booktubers! The creator of the Feminist Lit February readathon, one MASSIVE focus of Jane’s channel is feminism and literature which promotes feminism. Jane’s videos and her thoughts on books are always so well thought out and precise. I know I can always count on Jane for very direct and passionate, yet well-considered opinions when it comes to books. I think any Ravenclaw would love Jane’s passion and intellect!F R A N C I N A S I M O N E
Francina’s videos are not only intellectually stimulating, but also freaking HILARIOUS! She manages to make such good points in the most relateable and funny ways. Francina is another booktuber who is really good at having an intellectual, factual discussion without talking down to her viewers. And, boy, does she bring the sass! Let me tell you, some of her videos have left me straight up cackling! She’s also good at bringing some reality to intellectual discussions. I think sometimes we forget that reality has a lot more emotional nuance than theoretical situations do and Francina is really good at reminding viewers of that fact. If you’re a Ravenclaw who enjoys nuanced discussions filled with a good bit of humor and sass, then Francina is the booktuber for you!T E L L M E A L L A B O U T I T
